The total amount of carbon on Earth is constant but for a balanced and healthy nature it is currently in the wrong form: as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In the CarbonToSoil mobile app consumers get to participate in agriculture where regenerative farming is used to draw carbon from the atmosphere into the soil more efficiently than before. Through the app anyone can support farms to change their agricultural methods to regenerative farming. The app also allows the user to personally participate in food production and to see how food is grown.
The proceeds raised through the app project are used to regenerating more land, research, education and scaling the project global.

How to use the app
Participate in reversing climate change by regenerating land! There are two types of packages available: Predefined and customizable. In a predefined package the farm and the crop have already been selected for you but in a customizable package you can choose the farm and the crop from given options yourself.
PREDEFINED
- Go to the first page and tap the ”Start farming” icon at the bottom of the page.
- Select the package by tapping the one you want.
- Pay for your package using in-app purchase.
- Now you are ready to start following your farm’s data and the farmer blog (available on selected farms). Enjoy!
- To help us spread the word we would much appreciate it if you shared your input on Facebook. Go to My Farms view and tap the Facebook icon to do so.
CUSTOMIZABLE
- Go to the landing page and tap the ”Start farming” button at the bottom of the page.
- Select the package by tapping the one you want.
- The next view that opens is the Map view (iOS) or the Farm list view (Android). You can browse through different farms and by tapping a farm icon you can read more about that particular farm. After selecting the farm, choose the crop you like by using the easy-to-use slider. If you want to regenerate land from different farms, just use the back button to get to the previous view. The amount of farm land chosen is visible in your shopping cart, and the icon is located on the upper right side of the screen. You can view your shopping cart by tapping the icon. If you change your mind, you can edit the package either in your shopping cart view or on the farm page.
- When your shopping cart is full, you can pay for your package using in-app purchase.
- Now you are ready to start following your farm’s data and the farmer blog (available on selected farms). Enjoy!
